Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

RVA Homeowner is committed to making our website and content accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA and to continuously improve usability and accessibility as our site and features evolve.

What we’re doing

To support accessibility, we:

  • Use semantic HTML and ARIA where appropriate.

  • Maintain color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG 2.2 AA.

  • Support keyboard-only navigation and visible focus states.

  • Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.

  • Structure content with clear headings and logical reading order.

  • Test with common assistive technologies and modern browsers.

  • Review new features for accessibility before publishing.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We conduct periodic audits, fix issues we identify or that are reported to us, and train our team and partners on accessibility best practices.

Compatibility

Our website is designed to work with:

  • The latest versions of major desktop and mobile browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).

  • Screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.

  • Operating system and browser zoom settings, text resizing, and high-contrast modes.

For the best experience, please keep your browser and assistive technology up to date.

Known limitations & third-party content

Some content or functionality may be provided by third parties (e.g., embedded maps, video players, scheduling tools, payment or form providers, social media embeds). While we encourage vendors to meet WCAG 2.2 AA, these services may have their own accessibility practices and limitations outside of our control. If you encounter a barrier with any third-party feature on our site, let us know—when feasible, we’ll offer an alternative.
